Accounting Series Releases - ASRs

  

ASRs are accounting bulletins released by the SEC and, as such, generally refer to large, publicly traded companies, or at least those under qualified SEC domain. ASRs were a big deal when the SOX, or Sarbanes Oxley Act, came into play, as myriad filing requirements for public companies changed the granularity needed.
