Blacklist

Uh-oh...the blacklist.

If you (or anyone, or any organization/company) is on a blacklist, that means you’re punished in retaliation for something you did that the blacklist-creator didn’t like.

Any person, company, or governmental body can have a blacklist, which may be public or kept on the down-low. Getting blacklisted can keep you from doing things most others get to do.

For instance, Donald Trump controversially blacklisted citizens of seven countries from entering the U.S., as well as the news outlets that weren’t praising his glorious, golden locks. Trump is no stranger to blacklists, having been blacklisted himself by companies and organizations whom he’s either not paid debts to, or because of his tendencies to do things like grope women like it’s NBD. Blacklists are definitely making a comeback.
