Credit Watch

When you stare deeply at your mortgage payment documents.
Or you offer praise to your timepiece for helping you arrive to your appointment on time.
In finance, this is a program, or series of programs, that credit agencies and credit card companies offer to consumers to let them know of changes on a person’s credit report. Whenever a credit event occurs, like a bank doing a hard or soft inquiry, or a new line of credit opens, the credit watch program will immediately contact the consumer.
This is designed to prevent credit swindles and identity theft.
