Origination Fee

Categories: IPO, Banking

See: Origination.

When you start the process of getting a loan or a mortgage, sometimes there's a fee you have to pay. It's meant to cover the cost of the process (the man hours that go into filing paperwork and hassling you to send all your documentation). Also, the origination fee tends to weed out the riff-raff and the lookie-loos who might otherwise clog up the process and waste the bankers' time.

and private investors it wants to raise money to go

00:41

big internationally And for the first time it will offer

ten million shares a twelve bucks each to raise one

make shares available to the public because once you've made

01:24

an initial public offering and you make money off the

sales of your stock you khun by as many hippos
