Cyrus Trask Timeline and Summary

Cyrus joins the army in 1862. Adam is born six months later.
He comes home a few months later and one leg short.
Not long after his wife's suicide, Cyrus snags Wife #2 (Alice) and has Charles.
Cyrus starts to take the whole soldier thing really seriously. He eventually starts working for the Grand Army of the Republic (G.A.R.).
When Adam is around sixteen Cyrus makes him join the cavalry.
Cyrus re-locates to Washington D.C.
After Cyrus dies, Adam and Charles find out that he was worth one hundred thousand dollars. They suspect that he stole it from the G.A.R.
