Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor)’s Timeline and Summary

Obi-Wan joins his master, Qui-Gon, as an ambassador seeking a peaceful negotiation to the end of the Trade Federation's blockade of Naboo.
After an attempt is made on their lives, they escape the droid control station to the planet below.
Once there, they meet Jar Jar and convince the Gungans to give them transport.
Obi-Wan pilots the ship through the planet core and into the Naboo capital.
Following Qui-Gon's lead, Obi-Wan helps rescue Queen Amidala and escapes Naboo with her court.
On Tatooine, Obi-Wan stays behind to repair the ship and protect Sabe, whom he thinks is the queen.
On Coruscant, Obi-Wan disagrees with his master that Anakin should be trained as a Jedi, siding instead with the Jedi Council's belief that he is dangerous.
Back on Naboo, Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon help Padmé seize the palace. There, they encounter Darth Maul and engage him in a lightsaber duel.
Darth Maul kills Qui-Gon, and Obi-Wan gets angry.
After a fierce, well-choreographed duel, Obi-Wan in turn kills Darth Maul.
Comforting his dying master, Obi-Wan promises to train Anakin to be a Jedi.
The Jedi Council bestows upon Obi-Wan the rank of Jedi knight. They reluctantly agree to let him train Anakin.
