20-Year Prospect
As long as people have owned sticks and balls, people have enjoyed hitting the balls with the sticks. Seeing as how golf has the advantage of being around and established for quite some time, there's almost no chance a universe exists in twenty years that golf isn't a part of. Where there's golf, there's golf bags. And where there's golf bags, there's going to need to be someone to haul those golf bags.
That said, there are all sorts of advancements in "hauling stuff around" technology, such as personal drones and electric scooters. Let's just hope no one teaches them the difference between a wedge and an 8 iron.
