Odds of Hanging On
There's no age limit on this one, so as long as you establish yourself as reliable and skilled within the industry, there's no reason you can't have a long, sustained career in the business. In fact, it often takes a little while to move up through the ranks and become highly regarded at your craft, so the ones who've been at it a while tend to find the most regular and rewarding work.
In other words, things will be better for you once designing old hats becomes old hat.
