Odds of Getting In
As we've mentioned (over and over again, mind you), this isn't the most lucrative option as far as careers go. Your chances of getting in are better if you've studied photography methods and the works of famous or influential photographers, you personally own at least one high-quality camera, and you can assemble a great portfolio.
You'll also need to carry yourself with an air of professionalism and treat this as a business, rather than a hobby.
