Indiana Jones

Short Round is like Indy's mini-me. He clearly looks up to Dr. Jones, telling Willie "You can him Dr. Jones, lady!" and imitating Indy's behaviors, like propping his chin on his hands while listening pensively.

Short Round officially becomes Indy when he beats up the young Maharaja in a parallel sequence as Indy beats on the imposing temple guard. The student hasn't yet become the master, but he's well on his way.
