Here, we get to see a different group of toys. While Andy's toys have their own ideas and concerns about the world, these little green aliens in a claw machine have made up a whole religion around the claw above them. When you've got a community stuck in an arcade game, they would naturally worship The Claw that moves above them and frees them from the machine. It's pretty genius.

Woody finds out the hard way that getting back into Andy's room isn't gonna be as simple as he hoped. The other toys in the group are not willing to welcome him back in… or even help him. It's actually pretty cruel how much they've turned on Woody. They won't even rescue him from being tortured at Sid's.

REX: Great. Now I have guilt.
Looks like Woody wasn't as awful as they thought (just kind of awful). The group switches pretty quickly here in gear to save Woody and Buzz. This is one community that knows when they're wrong…and isn't afraid to adapt and do the right thing.
